My Alpha Gal journey began in the spring of 2025. When my symptoms led to a forced resignation, I found myself navigating a season of constant allergic reactions that left me physically depleted and emotionally worn down.
Grocery shopping no longer carried the same excitement as previously, and the joy I once found in cooking had disappeared, as I learned just how many hidden mammal derivatives exist in everyday products. For a time, I lived on pea protein shakes, fueled by fear.
That experience changed me. It revealed how overlooked Alpha Gal Syndrome truly is and how isolating it can feel when the world does not understand what you are going through.
Sugar Molecule Studios was born from that realization. I create these pieces because awareness is vital, and because sometimes a little humor and lightness are what help guide us back to ourselves.
